Absolom is a nice looking boy out of Alexander the Great, a full
accoyo, Pachacuti son. Absolom is showing very nice fleece character
with definition and bundling. He has very soft fleece with a
wonderful handle. His fleece was sorted and evaluated this year at
shearing time. His fleece was described as having a lovely handle,
his blanket was a graded as WL 3/4 and his neck was WL 2 and WR 2.
His fleece scores were as follows: brighness 8.5/10, Density 5/10,
Uniformity 6/10. The fleece has 4 cpi with a medium amplitude. He
has wonderful coverage from his head to his toes. This boy didn’t
make the cut for our breeding program and was gelded and will be a
great addition to anyone's fiber herd.
